Allspice essential oil is warming and aromatic in nature. The fruit of the Pimenta Dioica plant is found only in the West Indies and south America, although the berries are distilled in both Europe and America. When produced and used for culinary use, it has a taste that resembles a combination of Cloves, Cinnamon, Pepper and Juniper berries - hence the name Allspice! This combination of spices and their scents are also apparent in the aroma of this essential oil.
