The organic Juniper berry essential oil is genuinely a warm and deep scent, far superior to many juniper oils on the market and even superior to Naissance's own non-organic juniper oil. The fragrance of the organic is COMPLETELY different to that of the non-organic. The non-organic has a woody base scent, and almost reminds me of a black pepper essential oil in parts. The organic juniper oil is lighter and little more complex. It has slight citrus notes with a tiny hint of spice. Obviously there is a difference in price here, but the organic juniper is a superior product in many ways. Should you have any doubts, buy a 5ml bottle of each before committing to using juniper in a recipe.
