Myrtle Oil is seen as uplifting yet calming. It works well when diffused and blends with lots of other oils. . It has a fresh, peppery aroma, sometimes compared to Bay or Eucalyptus.
Colour: Yellow to dark orange to red
Odour: Fresh, green, slightly camphorous

Dilute at a percentage of 1% of the finished blend, typically 20 drops or 1ml of essential oil to 100ml of carrier oil. Do not use undiluted on the skin. You can use up to 3% dilution for use on your body or in the bath. Consult your doctor or midwife before using during pregnancy.
Blend it with a carrier oil like Almond (#215), Grapeseed (#210) or Coconut (#203) for a revitalising massage oil blend.
Add a few drops to your diffuser or oil burner and enjoy the invigorating and uplifting scent of Myrtle.
Can be used as an ingredient in your own homemade lotions, serums, creams and balms.
