Let us introduce you to The Bald Viking Beard Company, based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, owned by Callum Dee.

"My name is Callum and in 2019 I set out to create incredible products for the mightiest of beards. I started out with a single oil and from that point, The Bald Viking was born."

Tell us about your brand

"I make all of my products by hand, do the marketing and taught myself photoshop skills to a decent level to design my labels and merchandise as well as things I need for marketing. My brand, imaging and product names are all inspired by Vikings/Norse Mythology and my scents are inspired by nature or real places."

What type of products do you sell?

"I make beard products such as oils, butters and balms as well as a tattoo aftercare butter (Tattoo Butter) - these are the products I make using Naissance ingredients. I also sell branded merchandise such as T-Shirts, Hoodies, Caps and Beanies and also have brushes and combs."

Why did you start the brand?

"I had a beard for a few years and bought beard products from other companies but never found anything I really enjoyed or anything that really helped my beard and skin. I decided to try making my own and started with one oil. In May 2019 I started The Bald Viking and now have a good range of products in different scents as well as more products planned for the future. "

Why did you choose Naissance as your ingredients supplier?

"The quality of the ingredients is always great and I have never had an issue. I also prefer that the essential oils come in glass bottles as opposed to other companies selling them in flimsy (and often leaky) plastic bottles."
