Direct from Source

Jojoba Oil is the beautiful, golden oil extracted from the seeds of the desert shrub Simmondsia Chinensis. The hardy shrub tolerates the high heat and sunlight of the desert and needs little water to survive. The oil is cold pressed from the seeds and is free of additives and preservatives. Both our Organic and standard Jojoba Oil come direct from the heart of the Negev Desert in Israel.
The plants have been cultivated by a cooperative settlement to reclaim the land back from the barren desert sands to create a green oasis of Jojoba plants. The project is owned by the local desert community with over 25 years’ experience and has a deep connection to the unique desert soil, nurturing from seed to oil.

Dedicated to Sustainability

  • Low use of herbicide
  • Pesticide free

  • Preservative and additive free
  • Low carbon footprint
  • Low greenhouse gas emissions
  • Harness renewable energy sources
  • Traceable from seed to oil

The shrubs grow naturally to ensure sustainability and to help conserve the natural habitats for local wildlife. The cooperative is committed to its values of social and gender equality, de-desertification, communal responsibility and of course creating a sustainable eco-friendly environment.

The plantations are pesticide free and they use recycled water in a drip irrigation system so that no water ever goes to waste and they can control the exact amount of water the plants need.

They use renewable energy to power the plantation, with solar panels and turbines. The jojoba pulp, a by-product of the oil production, is used as animal feed. So, as you can see, they take sustainability very seriously!

This holistic approach ensures the production is environmentally friendly and produces the highest quality oil possible.

What's Inside

Jojoba Oil is naturally rich in Omega 9 and Vitamin E, it absorbs immediately and penetrates the skin deeply. The liquid wax mimics sebum, the oil naturally produced by our skin. Because of this, the oil is incredibly moisturising and helps to balance the skin's natural oil levels.

Jojoba is good to use straight from the bottle for all round face and body moisturisation. Apply a few drops to cleansed skin.

For an easy hair treatment, gently warm 10ml of Jojoba oil, taking care it is not too hot, and apply it to your hair, particularly the ends, cover with a towel and leave for 10 – 15 minutes. Wash thoroughly and style as normal.

Jojoba is very stable and helps to maintain the fragrance of essential oils, so if you want to make a fragranced moisturising body oil, the Jojoba works really well as a base oil for long lasting fragrance.

Jojoba can be used as a base for massage, it has good spreadability and allows hands to glide over the skin. Its light texture provides a luxurious feel to the skin.

Massage a drop into your nails and cuticles for strength and condition.
