Lemongrass Flexuosus Essential Oil

Usage

Massage

Combine a few drops of Lemongrass Essential oil with your favourite carrier oil to make your own massage oil. We suggest our Sweet Almond #215. Ideal for post workout to revive achy muscles.

Dilution

Dilute at a ratio of 0.6% for leave on products as Lemongrass can cause skin sensitivity and phototoxicity when you exceed this recommended limit. Consult your doctor or midwife before using during pregnancy.

Aromatherapy

Use in you diffuser to enjoy the refreshing scent of Lemongrass. For an energy boosting diffuser blend combine it with 3-4 drops each of Orange Sweet #105 and Peppermint Arvensis #107. For a bug banishing diffuser blend add 3 drops of Lemongrass, 3 drops of Tea Tree #109 and 2 drops of Lavender #102.

Top Tip

DIY Insect Repellent - Add 10 drops of Lemongrass, 10 drops of Peppermint #107 and 100ml of Witch Hazel #702 to a spray bottle to make your own simple bug repellent spray. Don’t forget to shake before use.
