D-mixed tocopherols concentrate, a useful formulating ingredient that helps slow down oxidisation in plant and vegetable oils.
Tocopherol, Helianthus Annuus
Colour: Yellow to brownish red
Extraction Method: Derived from Sunflower
We go above and beyond to source our ingredients ethically to ensure the highest quality at a great price!
For optimal antioxidation, use up to 0.5% of the finished formulation
Add to the formulation during the cool down phase, preferably below 40°C as it is heat sensitive and the tocopherols begin to diminish when heated.
Use in serums, body butters, balms, creams, soaps, lotions, scrubs and many more.
Add Vitamin E to a carrier oil of your choice for an antioxidizing boost. We love Organic Rosehip Oil #246 and Organic Unrefined Moringa Oil #222 for the face. Add between 0.3 and 0.5% of Vitamin E for the skin to be able to absorb it.
Adding too much Vitamin E can have the opposite effect and may speed up the oxidisation process.
